Works description:

The works involved an upgrade to existing valves and meters in Leixlip WTP all works had to be carried out in an 8 hour shutdown period

Works required the removal and reinstatement of existing reinforced cover slabs

Replacement of defective 1000mm gate valve with eccentric butterfly valve and long bodied flange adaptor

Replacement of a 700mm and 500mm flow meter for new electromagnetic flowmeters
